The last time I really had the flu, I was in 4th grade, and it had me down a week. I’ve never gotten sick like that since, and I’m glad. Oh, wait, I take that back. That ear infection I had a few years ago around my birthday topped that due to sheer pain.

VBS wore me out, and it’s just the first night. This is going to be rough. LOL We’ve got a pretty good bunch of kids though.

My husband once wrote a paper about the flu pandemic of 1918, and that scared the mess out of me enough that I didn’t do my normal attempt at avoiding a flue shot that year. Granted, that only lasted as long as I wore a uniform. LOL I would very much like to be rid of this lingering sinus crap. Now it feels more like a cold, but it’s still way better than I felt last week.
