So what’s going on?

Really, I hadn’t intended on an extended hiatus, but April wasn’t such a good month. I reached a point about a week and a half ago that I was just mentally and emotionally drained. I had to let go of a stresser, and that ended up being school. I am once again a grad school dropout, only this time for good. I also quit drinking coffee, and I’m not crashing after lunch anymore.

I spent all day Saturday working in the yard. I got the entire yard mowed, and did some weed eating out front. Oh, and got a sunburn. I was so sore Sunday though mostly muscle sore rather than burn sore. Yesterday I was burn sore. This weekend I plan on planting another small container garden.

And that’s about it. I was up a little late last night, and a little early this morning, so I haz a tired. But I plan on getting back into the swing of blogging now that I have a little bit of “free time.” :cheesy:

People laugh at me when I come back from the coffee shop with a small cup of coffee. They say things like, Look at that tiny thing, and then realize they’re talking about the small coffee cup.

I learnded off the Discovery Chanel that a person only needs a mouthful or two of coffee to actually liven up and actually keeps you from crashing.

It’s the sudden increase of alertness that end up causing you to drop fast and below what your were before you actually drank a crap load of coffee.

Then there the bladder thing. All that coffee has to exit sometime too. LOL

I only drink the coffee when at work and need that little energy boost to get me through the day.

It have a small cup when I wake up too, but sometimes I can skip it just by a cold splash of water in the face.

Perhaps I should have just cut back to a “normal” cup in the morning, and then maybe a “normal” cup after lunch instead of a big cup in the morning that amounted to 2 or 3 cups depending on which mug I grabbed. But caffeine effects me funny anyway. Always has. :dunno:

I was wondering what was going on. I didn’t see any updates in my rss reader. Then, I was playing around with Twitter (yeah, my account still works – its me that doesn’t) and noticed that you were following me but I had not followed you. To make a short story long, I noticed your blog post here and dug into why I wasn’t getting the feed – which had been changed. I thought that you’d gone all Diane and Mel on me!

  3. More blogging is good. :cartman:

Nice to see you back.
I still have all the critters in the backyard, plus, two Flying Squirrels in the house.

Thanks. 🙂 I thought about you a few weeks ago when I had a racoon eating the cat’s food. It actually did me a favor by eating the food that Mittens & Basement Kitty refused to eat after I had to buy a bag of Meow Mix. Silly spoiled cats. LOL

Well, then I won’t be getting my masters in IT. 😉 It’s good to actually be able to sort of rest my brain again. That’s not to say I’m not studying, but I’m not studying IT or management. Studying the bible doesn’t make me so tired. :cheesy:

You have been missed! I’m glad to see you back but sorry that you had so many stresses in your life. You worked so hard at school too! But you know what – your health comes first – emotional, physical, and spiritual. Anyway, I hope the next few months are so good that they make up for April for you! 🙂 Hugs!

The main stress is work related, but that affected everything else, and I don’t need a masters. Never did. I really just need a good long vacation, which I will be taking about a week and a half in July. :hugs:

I am certainly happy to know you are around and about again. I’ve cut back on my coffee to about a half pot per day. Some changes are good. :cheesy:

Years ago, it wasn’t too bad. They went downhill for some reason.
How about warm Buckhorn or Iron city? :cheesy:

Beer is beer and it all tastes like 30-year-old hay. :rofl2: Though, Carlsberg wasn’t so bad after the first pint. :drinkers1:
